215 Gear moving, expanding in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Trident Security and Holdings, doing business as 215 Gear, will relocate its operations to the Oceana South Industrial Park in Virginia Beach. The company manufactures and distributes tactical nylon gear for the military. 215 Gear is a certified Small, Women and Minority-owned Business that was established in 2007.

215 Gear will relocate and expand to a 7,000-square-foot facility in the YesOceana corridor. The move will provide a better platform for the company’s continued growth.

“This business corridor is finding a host of compatible businesses interested in the advantages it provides and proximity to other businesses,” said Warren D. Harris, director of Virginia Beach Economic Development. “215 Gear is another advanced manufacturer that is now able to expand and establish an even bigger footprint in the City.”

The Virginia Beach Development Authority has awarded 215 Gear an Accident Potential Zone-1 Economic Development Investment Program grant based on the company’s capital investment.
