Walmart will create 300 jobs at Ladysmith supercenter

LADYSMITH, Va. — Walmart is planning to open a 158,000-square-foot supercenter in Ladysmith, Caroline County. The retail giant will create about 300 full- and part-time jobs at the new store.

Details about the store’s opening and operation were not available. Walmart will anchor the commercial center under development with other retail stores and services planned at the location.

The retailer is the world’s largest company by revenue, as well as the biggest private employer in the world with 2.2 million employees.
